Wife Team To Develop Training

our computerized world is a whole new game. That's why Kennesaw State Universtiy has
opened the Southeast Cybercrime Institute. The Continuing Education program will lead
to certification for cybercrime investigators. The first classes begin this summer for
computer forensics, digital evidence and corporate cybercrime protection.

frequently from local police that they needed training in Internet technology security. He
invited the state attorney general's office, FBI, Georgia Bureau of Investigations and
Georgia Technology Authority to discuss their continuing education needs, and the KSU
Cybercrime Institute was born. Its director is Thomas Akin. He ran the university's
Unix system and network while getting his degree, and then went to work in corporate
information security.   Read the rest of the article . . .
